Short version: This website does not use cookies, does not embed external fonts, maps, or tracking tools, and does not analyze your behavior. Only technically necessary server log data is processed. Personal data is only created once you actively contact me.

2. Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits (so-called server log files):

browser type and version
operating system used
referrer URL (the previously visited page)
date and time of access
IP address, shortened or anonymized

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website).
Retention: This data is not combined with other data sources and is generally deleted after at most 7 days.

3. Contacting me

3.1 WhatsApp

This website links to WhatsApp (wa.me). Clicking such a link takes you away from this site to WhatsApp. The provider, WhatsApp Ireland Limited / Meta Platforms, independently processes data (including your phone number, message content, and metadata). I have no influence over this processing. Please refer to the WhatsApp Privacy Policy. A transfer of data to countries outside the EU cannot be ruled out.

If you message me via WhatsApp, I process the data you send (phone number, name, message content, vehicle data, photos) solely to handle your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual necessity) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Note: If you'd prefer to avoid sending data to WhatsApp, feel free to contact me by phone or email instead.

3.2 Phone and email

When you contact me by phone or email, the data you provide is stored to process your request and for any follow-up questions.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related requests, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Data processed for a pre-purchase check

To create a check, I process the data you provide — in particular vehicle data, listing links, photos, and your name and contact details.

Purpose: creating the requested report.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Disclosure: if you additionally book an on-site check, I only share the data necessary for the appointment (name, contact, appointment, vehicle, and location) with the partner garage or freelancer carrying it out.
Retention: photos and listing data are deleted after the order is completed. Invoice and order data are subject to statutory retention periods (generally 8–10 years under German commercial and tax law).

5. No cookies, no tracking, no external services

This website uses no cookies, no web-analytics tool, and no marketing pixels. Fonts are loaded exclusively from the local device (system fonts) — there is no connection to Google Fonts or similar services. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

6. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external provider. The provider processes the server log data mentioned above on my behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

8. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority for me is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the https:// prefix in your browser's address bar.

10. Changes to this policy

I will update this privacy policy whenever the legal situation or my services change — for example, if a contact form or analytics tool is added in the future.
